As we hit mid-summer, we thought it the perfect time to share our top summer hair and beauty tips. Summer is a time to be more active and to enjoy the longer days. At Mineral Lifestyle Hair Spa we are avid followers of Ayurveda principles of wellness. General summer wellness tips that align with Avurveda principals like jumping in the ocean for a salt cleanse regularly, eating more cooling foods such as cucumber, mint, and coriander to cool you from the insides, and start something new for your health and fitness, or a hobby! Below is our top wellness and beauty tips for your hair, face, body, and make up that will hydrate, enrich and maximise your summer glow.

Top tips for: Hair
For all you beach bums and pool junkies, Aveda Sun Care Hair and Body Cleanser is just what you need to remove chlorine, salt and product build-up, and not over-dry your scalp or body.
The intense summer sun dries the hair out, replenish its moisture with a moisturizing conditioner every time you wash your hair and better still use a hair masque every week to restore health back into your hair.

Top tips for: Face
It can't be said enough - protect your skin from the sun! Make sure you apply AVEDA Inner Light Mineral SPF 15 every day and reapply every 2 hours.
